Apply Builder Gel Extensions Using Tips.

Make sure your cuticles are pushed back, shape your nail and then using a buffer block take off the natural oils in your nails and then wipe clean with nail varnish remover(or acetone) ensuring that you do not touch your nails as this will add moisture back into them. At this stage you can add my dehydrator bonder gel but this is optional. Choose the correct size nail tip using white for french or clear for colour polish finish, its better to get one slight too big than too small, you can then slightly file the edges if it is too big so it fits the nail. Place a small amount of nail glue to the nail tip (make sure that you do not use too much glue or apply too much pressure when applying.) DO NOT have the tip to low down the nautral nail this will not make it stronger but in fact it will have more chance of snapping off as there will be less flexability. Once applied clip the tips to the desired size. Blend the tip end into the natural nail using a buffer block and then wipe clean with acetone/nail varnish remover. Apply a thin coat of UV base coat over the nail and tip and cure. At this stage you are ready for the builder gel application. Use a little amount and place on centre of nail and work it out across the nail bed ensuring that you overlap the join. Once applied turn the hand over for approx 5-6 seconds to encourage the gel to level. Check that you have no excess gel by using a cuticle stick around the edge of the natual nail. You will not beable to remove it after it has cured and it will lift the builder gel off your natural nail if not removed. Place under the UV lamp for 2 mins LED lamp 45 seconds. Using a nail file (80/20 grit) blend and flatten the builder gel and use buffer block to smooth as required. Wipe again with acetone/nail polish remover. If using clear nail tips follow intructions as this stage for gel polish application (tab on my main page.) Add a gel polish top coat and cure again as before. Wipe the sticky finish with nail varnish remover or acetone and finish of with cuticle oil for the perfect finish. TIps and Advice for removing the Builder Gel. You will need 99% acetone remover (nail varnish remover will not work) soak the nail by using lint free remover pads not cotton wool as this will just soak up the acetone. Try not to be tempted to pick it off – this will make your own nails weaker. Leave the remover on the nail for 10 minutes you will see it starts to come away from the nail. (you can cover the pad with a little bit of silver foil around each nail if you wish.) Remove the Gel polish from the nail using wooden/plastic cuticle stick and scraping it off. Finish off by using the soaked pads to remove the excess from around the edges. Recommend using some nail cream at this stage to rehydrate the nails unless of course you can not resist but to put another colour on.

Applying and Removing Gel Polish Colour.

BBnails UV/LED GEL POLISH INSTRUCTIONS Make sure that your nails are free of any moisture by buffing the top layers making sure that you don’t forget the sides. NEVER use a harsh nail file on the nail bed. (use buffer block supplied with your kit) Push back your cuticles (soaking in warm water for even a few minutes will help soften the cuticle) then file your nails into the desired shape. Using a lint free wipe and acetone wipe over the full surface of the nail to remove any excess dust before you begin. Apply BBnails Ph bond sparingly over the whole nail bed, (this process dehydrates the nail making the gel bond for longer) BBnails Ph bond soaks into the nail after around 30 seconds and does not require curing. CURING TIMES 12watt LED lamp cure each coat for 1 minute 36watt LED lamp cure base & top coat for 20 seconds and colour coat for 30 seconds Apply all coats sparingly starting with BBnails foundation base and curing under the lamp. Apply two thin coats of gel colour, (thick coats are not necessary and will not cure correctly and may chip) the first coat of colour may look transparent specially on lighter colours but the second coat will cover. Apply a third coat if a darker shade is required. Lastly apply a thin sparing coat of BBnails top it off sealing the free edge of the nail (brush the top coat across the top free edge of the nail) and cure under the lamp. Now you have finished and your all dry you need to wipe off the excess sticky that is left by using either a little acetone on a lint free remover pad (these are supplied with your kit) or as I do, use the nail varnish remover pads (you get in a pot) you can use each one more than once and do the job great and also condition the cuticles. Apply cuticle oil is desired. Enjoy beautiful colour glossy nails for 2 weeks or more. TIPS AND ADVICE FOR REMOVING THE GEL COLOUR You will need 98-99% acetone remover (nail varnish remover will not work) Remove the top layer of the gel polish using a 180/240 grit nail file until the colour is dull. Do not file down to the nail bed. Add a small amount of acetone into a shallow dish and soak your nails for approx 15 minutes. With a wooden orange stick (supplied with your kit) start to push away the gel from the nail bed, it should come away easily. Soak for longer if necessary. Access can be buffed off. Never be tempted to pick off the gel it will weaken your nails. It is important that you apply cuticle oil over the nail bed after soaking in the acetone to rehydrate the nail.

Applying and Removing Nail foil Wraps.

Carefully manicure your nails and make sure your cuticles are pushed back. Buff you nails lightly to remove any oily layer and filing dust. Select the foil that closest matches the size of your nail and trim to fit exactly. Carefully place the curved edge on the nail close to, but not touching your cuiticle. Once the foil is in place, rub all areas of the nail foil firmly with a cuticle pusher or similar. You can even stretch them to avoid uneven surfaces and creases. File off any remaing excess foil in a gentle downward motion using a nail file. A LITTLE MORE ADVICE You can if you prefer, heat the foils up slightly with a hairdryer before applying. They always last longer on your toes than your fingers. They are best kept for special occassions for your finger. If they do start to peel up or you can not help but pick at them try putting a little clear nail varnish underneath to help keep them secure. The more you use them the easier they are to use – so keep trying. WHEN REMOVING THE FOILS Soak your foils in warm water and they will start to peel easily. I always find after I have showered is a good time to replace them.If you pick them off without soaking them always use some nail varnish remover to clear the excess off your nails.
